Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with over 5 years of strong maintenance experience. This role involves 70% mechanical and 30% electrical work, focusing on troubleshooting and maintenance of fillers, conveyors, labeling, and sorting machines. A strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and wiring is essential, as well as the ability to read schematics. Experience with FDA, GMP, or Food/Beverage type companies is considered a plus. This position offers a direct placement opportunity and is a chance to join a company at the ground level, where you can grow with the newly established maintenance department.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, with a focus on troubleshooting.
Work on fillers, conveyors, labeling, and sorting machines.
Apply strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in daily tasks.
Maintain and repair motors and wiring systems.
Read and interpret schematics for maintenance and repair tasks.
Conduct preventive maintenance and repair activities.
Operate and understand basic functions of a Chinese PLC, with vendor support available on-site.
Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP standards as applicable.
Essential Skills
5+ years of maintenance technician experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading schematics.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic skills in operating a Chinese PLC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in FDA, GMP, Food/Beverage industry is a plus.
Flexibility in role and duties as the company grows.
Willingness to work night shifts, with potential consideration for day shifts based on performance.
