Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our fast-paced, dynamic team supporting a leading biotechnology client. In this role, you will manage and oversee all logistics and transportation operations at our Plano, TX facility, ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of materials while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipping activities at the Plano, TX site, providing support to Warehouse and Shipping staff.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of a variety of shipments, including:

  • Clinical doses

  • Raw materials and lab supplies

  • R&D samples

  • Empty Type A package returns

  • Used generator returns for recycling

  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts with selected couriers.

  • Coordinate audit and inspection activities with vendors.

  • Administer the FedEx platform and other relevant shipping accounts for the Plano facility.

  • Coordinate deliveries with carriers, recipients, and internal teams (Clinical Supply, GMP, Quality, and R&D).

  • Serve as the primary shipper and consignee for hazardous materials and international shipments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in a regulated or biotechnology environment.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping and international logistics preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.INDBH#LI-MG1
