Work location: 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: PRN Nights (as needed) rotating hours. Weekend and holiday requirements.
Medical Surgical department highlights: Med/surg Telemetry (29 Beds)- Medical Surgical patients and patients on Cardiac Telemetry. We take a wide variety of patients which includes telemetry, post cath management, some cardiac drips etc. Ratio is 1:5 but occasionally goes up to 6 on night shift. This unit has high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.
Here's what you need:
Education
Nursing Diploma required or
Associate degree Nursing required or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Experience
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting required
2 Years' Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required and
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days required
