The Cigna Group Business Analytics Director – National Network Analytics - Hybrid in Plano, Texas
This role will serve as the leader of the National Network Contract Analytics team for the US Employer business. The role is pivotal in driving affordability strategies, maintaining rigorous standards in the management/measurements of our network contracts, and delivering actionable insights to support provider contracting.
Key Responsibilities
Drive unit cost affordability planning and provide cross-functional partners with insightful projections on unit cost trends and risks.
Identify and evaluate contracting opportunities partnering closely with Contracting and Network Analytic teams.
Redefine our affordability goals, develop ongoing processes to monitor progress, and support Contracting in achieving those goals. Communicate progress against goals to executive leadership
Influence AMP and Next Gen modeling/toolsets priorities and methodologies.
Lead the development of comprehensive plan methodology for unit cost, translation factor, and structure metrics for the US Employer business, collaborating with multidisciplinary leaders and leveraging diverse data points (transparency data, comp intel, sales, historical performance) to ensure a strategic, data driven approach.
Continued and strengthen collaboration with Pricing/Network Analytics/Affordability/AMP teams.
Maintain relevant tools, reporting, documentation, and processes to support our affordability and network strategies.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continued improvement across the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Statistics, Medical Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics.
8+ years of experience in analytic roles within the healthcare industry.
Network Analytics / Med Econ / Provider Contracting experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Trusted team player with proven ability to foster working relationships and influence matrix partners.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 157,700 - 262,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
