Insight Global Business Development Manager in Plainville, Connecticut

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for growing the company’s client base, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through market insight and proactive outreach—especially within industrial and manufacturing sectors focused on environmental health and safety

Key Responsibilities:

 • Drive at least 10% annual growth in new clients and business opportunities.

 • Identify, research, and pursue potential industrial/manufacturing clients.

 • Support environmental health and safety–focused initiatives for clients.

 • Manage leads, timelines, and follow‑through to close new business.

 • Collaborate with project teams to ensure client needs and deliverables are met.

 • Participate in RFQ/RFP processes and submissions.

 • Attend targeted industry events, associations, and trade shows.

 • Work closely with division leaders and cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Engineering background preferred).

 • 3–5 years of business development experience with industrial or manufacturing clients.

 • Ability to travel as needed (NE primarily) • Experience selling environmental health and safety services is a plus.
