Engineering Test Technician – Aerospace Systems
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full‑time | 40 hours per week

Position Overview
The Engineering Test Technician is a hands‑on, technical role supporting the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aerospace electrical systems, including temperature control and deicing units used on aircraft platforms. Approximately 50–75% of the workday will be dedicated to component‑level troubleshooting and testing.
This is an excellent opportunity for:
Experienced Electrical Technicians with aerospace or military backgrounds, or
Junior candidates or recent graduates with formal military electronics training or an Associate/Technology degree who are eager to grow quickly in a high‑impact engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Testing & Troubleshooting
Perform component‑level troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical assemblies.
Conduct military‑grade electronics testing using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits supporting temperature control and deicing systems for aerospace applications.
Identify failures, diagnose root causes, and support corrective actions.
Technical Documentation & Compliance
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Accurately complete data sheets, test records, and inspection documentation.
Write and document non‑conformances in accordance with internal and customer requirements.
Follow established safety, testing, and quality standards.
Collaboration & Environment
Work closely with engineers and fellow technicians in a fast‑paced, hands‑on lab environment.
Support testing and development activities tied to aerospace programs.
Maintain organized workstations and test setups.
Required Qualifications (Must‑Haves)
3+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician in:
Aerospace manufacturing
Defense industry
Military service (active duty or reservist)
Less than 3 years of experience combined with:
Formal military electronics training, OR
Associate’s or Technology degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics
Technical Requirements
Hands‑on experience using electrical test equipment, including:
Oscilloscopes
Digital multimeters
Power supplies
Function generators
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, testing fundamentals, and safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
Ability to work full‑time (40 hours/week)
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
BSEE or equivalent engineering degree
Aerospace electronic system experience
Familiarity with FAA and/or military testing standards
Experience with component‑level repair
Prior exposure to temperature control or deicing systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
