Machine Learning Engineer w/ Novo Nordisk Inc. in Plainsboro NJ.Architect and implement advanced MLOps frameworks by applying theoretical computer science principles to data preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment. Design and develop novel optimization and monitoring strategies grounded in statistical theory to ensure model efficacy. Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders, translating complex business problems into formal mathematical and technical specifications. Lead the end-to-end design and theoretical evaluation of complex AI and ML solutions. Apply advanced algorithms and mathematical modeling to create scalable systems in cloud platforms like AWS and Dataiku. Apply advanced scaling methodologies and distributed computing principles to scale ML models to handle large volumes of data and requests, using Dataiku and AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and SageMaker. Establish and codify advanced best practices based on empirical research and theoretical reference to data scientists and other AI and ML users. Perform complex root cause analysis of deployed ML model and pipeline failures by applying deep theoretical knowledge of machine learning architecture and statistical modeling. Enable and contribute in creating solutions ranges from data ingestion to user interface, using cloud development. Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations on AI and ML projects and solutions. Perform governance and compliance tasks related to AI and ML, such as data quality, ethics, privacy, and auditability. Conduct original research into emerging methodologies and trends in AI and Machine Learning, with a specific focus on Generative AI. Theoretically assess the viability of novel techniques and their application to solve complex business problems. Work in a SAFe agile framework, following the principles and practices of agile development.Must possess a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
