Rehbein Ford is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Service Technician to join our team. ln this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse vehicle types and develop a wide range of skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Repair and replace worn or malfunctioning parts, including brakes, sensors, and other components.
- Communicate with service advisors to ensure customers are informed about necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Document all work performed and parts used accurately on repair orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
- Assist other technicians and collaborate with the service team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with a minimum of [1-3] years. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic.
- Relevant ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must have your own set of tools.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) with a twisting motion repeatedly throughout the workday.
