Job Title: Injection Mold Operator Job Description
As an Injection Mold Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the injection molding process. Your primary responsibilities will include loading polymer resin into the machine, monitoring the process, offloading completed helmets, inspecting for defects, and documenting production details.
Responsibilities
Load polymer resin into the injection mold machine.
Monitor the molding process alongside the Injection Mold Technician.
Offload completed helmets from the machine and inspect for holes, defects, and bubbles.
Document production output and defective parts.
Remove excess plastic from helmet openings using specified tools.
Perform quick visual inspections to ensure quality and report issues to the Mold Technician.
Utilize RF scanning technology to insert RF tech into each helmet and log it into the system.
Essential Skills
Machine operation experience.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
Wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes is required.
Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment with quality responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in plastics or injection molding is a plus.
Further machine operation experience is advantageous.

Work Environment
This role is set in a manufacturing environment that is not temperature-controlled but maintains a cool atmosphere with overhead fans. Shifts are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed. Weekend shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM, Friday through Sunday, with lunches included.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
