Job Description
Position: Sanitation (Second Shift)
Sanitation Duties and Responsibilities
Use approved chemicals to clean and disinfect surfaces.
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment.
Dispose of waste in the facility.
Sweep and mop the floors and areas of the plant facility.
Document cleaning. (Complete cleaning check list, ATP documents, and
cleaning Schedule)
Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow.
Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms.
Report potential issues to management.
Comply with GMPs and SQF guidelines and practices.
Help with finishing production runs. Packing out
Sanitation Worker Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
Ability to communicate and read labels in English (Bilingualism a plus).
Some cleaning experience required.
Attention to detail.
Physical stamina.
Ability to lift 50lbs
Understanding of systems and processing
Communication with management
Ability to work independent of Management.
Able to follow Cleaning Schedule
Able to fill out and understand Cleaning Documentation
Focus on working safely (osha) and food saftey
