Temporary, seasonal workers needed for nursery. Job duties include weeding; tilling soil; applying fertilizers; transplanting; thinning; watering; staking; pruning; digging trees; shrubs; and perennials. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives; cleaning, grading, sorting, packing; loading/unloading. Job involves frequent stooping. Worker be able to lift/carry sufficient weight (approximately 50 pounds) to move equipment and material necessary to complete assigned tasks. The Employer will rely on workers own representations and observations of workers to assess if the workers meet this qualification. Upon hire, random, or upon suspicion drug screening (paid for by Employer). Workers may make above hourly wage based on experience and at the sole discretion of employer.
