Plain City facility hiring Material Handler, Welders/Machine Operators and Warehouse specialists to join their growing team!
Pay rate is $18.00 per hour!
This 1st shift career opportunity offers a Monday -- Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm and Friday 5:00 am -- 11:00 am schedule.
Job duties:
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Machine operation, grinding, and cleaning shafts while assisting in other areas of production
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Responsible for all assigned functions for warehousing and distribution, including loading and unloading trucks, whether manually or mechanically
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Processing, packing, stacking, labeling of cargo per approved standards
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Must be detailed oriented and able to set priorities
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Good attendance / punctuality is a must!
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Follow procedures and directions
•[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Be able to lift up to 20-50lbs
- [This is a dirty environment, grinding and deburring steel brushes]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Previous experience working with steel is a plus!!]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
**Mig welding experience preferred but not required as training is available. Will be operating a steel banding machine, will train.
Steel-toed boots are required. We provide all other safety gear.
