Job Title: Process Improvement Manager

Job Description

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving operational efficiency across sourcing, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and fulfillment. The Process Improvement Manager will collaborate with operations, quality, and leadership to identify opportunities, implement sustainable improvements, and build scalable processes. This position reports directly to executive leadership and requires someone who can influence through collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current production, warehouse, and fulfillment workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost drivers.

  • Lead and implement process improvements to increase throughput, accuracy, labor efficiency, and scalability.

  • Own continuous improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation and sustainment.

  • Establish and maintain KPIs and reporting to track performance and support data-driven decision making.

  • Support costing and quoting for new and existing products by validating labor, material flow, and process assumptions.

  • Leverage ERP data to support process analysis and improvement.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of operational data used for reporting and decision making.

  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reports using Excel.

  • Partner with internal teams to improve system workflows and visibility.

  • Serve as a change agent, building trust and buy-in across production, warehouse, quality, and support teams.

  • Lead training and coaching efforts to ensure teams understand, adopt, and sustain new processes.

  • Document current and future-state processes, SOPs, and training materials.

  • Support CAPAs and corrective actions as needed, working alongside the Quality Manager.

  • Directly supervise and mentor a Process Improvement Intern, with future potential to lead a small team.

  • Provide functional leadership and process support to Product Management and related operational teams.

  • Act as a resource to managers by helping resolve process breakdowns across departments.

Essential Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar environments.

  • At least 2 years of supervisor or lead experience with direct reports.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and managing change.

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups required).

  • Ability to communicate clearly with frontline employees, managers, and executives.

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, or equivalent experience.

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.

  • ERP experience (Epicor a plus).

  • Experience supporting warehouse, assembly, or production operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Placentia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
