Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Production Cleanroom Assembler, working in a leading supplier of surgical one-time-use items, instruments, and kits for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers. You will be part of the Pensar department, dedicated to producing high-quality medical devices.
Responsibilities
Insert products into tubes, requiring the use of considerable force with repetitive motion.
Utilize glue to assemble medical devices such as respirators.
Count, cut, measure, fold, or modify raw materials as per the Device Master Record, ensuring all inspections and documentation meet QS & GMP policy requirements.
Perform on-line inspection of each device as it is produced, reporting any issues to the Production Supervisor.
Seal products in their final packaging configuration, adhering to proper procedures and machine settings.
Prepare packaged work in progress for sterilization, completing necessary documentation and control numbers.
Maintain proper inventory control procedures including product staging, segregation, and rotation.
Perform and document scheduled facility cleaning per QS standards.
Communicate effectively with production, purchasing, quality, and
Meet objectives of the quality management system and recommend improvements as needed.

Preferred 1 year of experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, or warehouse environments.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working in a Spanish-only environment for tenured employees.
Basic English proficiency to read work orders and communicate with auditors/supervisors.
Ability to float throughout departments as needed.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a cleanroom with a total of four employees in the department. Employees must wear cleanroom gear, including scrubs, white coats, gloves, hair nets, and must refrain from wearing makeup, jewelry, eyelashes, or nails. The environment requires comfort with Spanish communication, as well as the use of fans to mitigate glue fumes. The role is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility to start at 5 am and work until 3:30 pm or Saturdays as needed. Employees must be comfortable taking set breaks after four hours, with specific procedures for drinking water or bathroom breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
