Skills & Abilities Physical Fitness: Stamina, strength (lifting heavy panels), and comfort working on roofs/ladders. Technical Skills: Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, blueprint reading, and using hand/power tools. Safety Focus: Adherence to safety protocols (harnesses, gloves, hard hats) and attention to detail. Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service. 1-3+ years of experience in solar installation (commercial experience preferred). Comfortable working at heights and on ladders, rooftops, or scaffolding. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction principles. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions. Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Reliable transportation to travel to job sites in NY/NJ/CT. OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
