Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6a-4:30p + overtime on Fridays as needed
Assignment Length: Temporary with potential for perm placement
We’re hiring Production Builders & Laborers for a well-established client in Pittsfield. These are hands-on openings on a day shift with a strong team environment, offering $17 per hour and a temporary assignment with potential for permanent placement for the right candidates.
This is a skill-building production role where you can put your carpentry experience to work while learning new techniques from experienced professionals. Typical daily duties:
• Assisting the production team with parts preparation and material handling
• Assembly and building of fixtures and products
• Loading and unloading paint racks and supporting finishing processes
• Performing quality assurance checks to ensure products meet standards
What we’re looking for:
• Ability to read a tape measure through 16ths
• General labor experience with good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a small team or partner
• Adaptability to work in multiple areas such as paint/stain, parts prep, material handling, and production building
