Responsibilities include determining clinical eligibility for MassHealth-funded services for nursing facility stays and completing in-home assessments of service needs for individuals. Excellent written, communication, and computer skills required. Geriatric/Long Term Care and community-based nursing experience preferred. Registered nurse with a valid Massachusetts license. Bachelor or Associate of Science in nursing and at least three years of clinical experience in a community or long-term care setting. And/or a Diploma RN and (2) two additional years of community-based nursing or long-term care direct service experience. Qualifications - Ability to exercise independent judgment - Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills - Demonstrated interpersonal skills - Ability to develop and maintain records and communicate clinical data in verbal and written form - Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing - Current Driver\'s License (and insurance) Required Medical Specialty: Geriatrics Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Experience: Nursing: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: RN (Required) Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or an Associates of Science degree in Nursing and at least one (1) year of clinical experience and/or nursing in the community or long term care setting.
