Job Summary: The First Shift Laser Operator is responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machine to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. Ideal candidates have experience with CNC operation and take pride in maintaining high tolerances. What You\'ll Do: - Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications - Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts - Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy - Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting - Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process - Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards What We\'re Looking For: - 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines - Experience with Trump CNC equipment is a plus - Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings - Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail - Experience with material handling equipment (overhead cranes/forklifts) - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift - Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Why Work at Lenco: - Stable, full-time manufacturing work with consistent hours - Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities - Purpose-driven products that protect first responders and military personnel - Modern facility with specialized equipment - Long-term career growth within a growing U.S. manufacturer
