TeleTracking Technologies Software Engineer II in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. has opening for Software Engineer II in Pittsburgh, PA. Write programs in a variety of computer languages, one or more of: Java, C#, Scala, Python or JavaScript in accordance with TeleTracking standards. Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing. Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together. Consult with product owners/managers and subject matter experts to analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Create a variety of models and diagrams showing programmers the software code needed for an application. Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation. Assists and mentors junior team members.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of post-progressive bachelors experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer II-related occupation.
Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 5 years of post-progressive bachelors experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer II-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
Experience with object or component-oriented development software, one or more of: C++, Java, Scala, C#, JavaScript, or Python; Experience with web platform development software, one or more of: HTML, ASP.NET, PHP, JSP, or CSS; Experience with database management system software, one or more of: Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL; Experience with cloud-based management and hosting, one or more of: AWS, Azure, GCP, CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible; Experience with Version Control Software, one or more of: git, Mercurial, CVS, TFS, or Subversion; Familiarity and experience executing several software development methodologies and life cycles; Familiarity with build automation and continuous integration software; Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with end users to transform requests into robust solutions.
