Deloitte Senior Microservices Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Work You'll Do
As a Project Delivery Lead on the project, you will:
Oversee technical direction of 32 microservices across 6 agile teams (40 engineers)
Participate in architecture and code reviews of Springboot and Ruby microservices as well as AWS Elastic Kubernetes YAML configurations
Advise on improvements to health and DORA monitors and metrics
Identify and recommend solutions to address scalability, reliability, and availability
Advise executives on strategic technology decisions related to microservices and team capacity
Oversee major deployments and high-risk secret key rotations
Oversee on-call operations

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
10+ years of experience with API Programming
7+ years of experience with Java (Spring)
5+ years with AWS and DevOps
5+ years with Github and/or a similar tool
Preferred:
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
Experience with Octopus Deploy
