Womanspace East, Inc Part Time Shelter Advisor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Womanspace East, Inc is a private non profit organization that provides temporary emergency housing services for homeless families (18 years of age and older) and their dependent children who are in crisis. The nature of their crisis may be the result of domestic violence, mental health issues, eviction or natural disasters. The program operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The comprehensive support program is designed to stabilize the family crisis and promote independence, self sufficiency and self reliance.
The goal of Womanspace East, Inc is to provide activities that embrace a holistic approach to crisis resolution and treatment -- addressing the entire family and providing vital services where the family can find support, guidance, and redirection to make them contributing members to the community again.
Part Time Residential Advisor's needed for: daylight (7am-3pm), evening (3pm-11pm) and overnight shift (11PM-7AM), 3-4 shifts per week, including rotating weekends. Please specify which shift you are applying for.
Job responsibilities include answering phones, completing intake paperwork, light housekeeping, assisting residents, maintaining the security of the building, etc.
CPR certification and ACT 33/34 clearances are required.
