Description
Our client is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support 2 attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative and litigation support experience.

Requirements
Responsibilities
• Draft, format, and revise legal documents including correspondence, briefs, pleadings, and other materials
• Manage attorney calendars, monitor deadlines, and coordinate scheduling for depositions, hearings, conference calls, and meetings
• Provide administrative support including expense reports, check requests, and general clerical tasks
• Coordinate mailings and oversee large-scale document production with office services
• Maintain and organize client files, including opening and closing matters
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and provide support during trial as needed
• Handle incoming calls, voicemails, and general communications on behalf of attorneys
• Perform document management tasks including copying, scanning, and filing
• Utilize dictation tools (BigHand) to prepare correspondence and legal documents
• Collaborate with team members to provide firmwide support as needed
Qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Solid understanding of legal terminology and state and federal court procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe
• Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred)
• Experience with e-filing systems preferred
• Familiarity with redlining, track changes, and preparing tables of contents and authorities is a plus
• Strong aptitude for learning new systems and technologies
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a law firm or legal environment
