Robert Half Grant Accountant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

We are looking for a Grant Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage various aspects of grant funding, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial management of grants, including tracking payments, monitoring expenditures, and generating detailed reports.

• Maintain accurate internal schedules for grant deliverables and ensure all deadlines are met.

• Prepare and upload required monthly financial reports to relevant organizations.

• Review and process travel and business expense reports for management approval.

• Code, track, and process expense invoices to ensure proper review and authorization.

• Assist in creating budgets and budget justifications for grant proposals.

• Collaborate on the preparation and review of grant applications to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and complete grant applications.

• Stay informed on industry standards by attending meetings and reviewing relevant publications.

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the team.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Familiarity with grant funding policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Proficiency in analyzing budgetary details to ensure compliance with financial guidelines.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

• Sound judgment in evaluating financial information and addressing compliance issues.
