Certu Systems Development, Security and Operations Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Certu Systems, Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA) to be responsible for working with the engineering and research team to design, develop, secure, deploy, and operate critical solutions in our software system; working within engineering teams and across the stack from networking to application source code; securing, operating, and continuously deploying Web APIs and other services in a cloud native computer environment; hardening the security and continually monitoring the vulnerability of the software system; partnering with engineers to interpret security requirements and planning effective control implementations; building and supporting a CI/CD infrastructure utilizing ORMs, Helm, Kubernetes, GitHub, and ArgoCD; serving as a security subject matter expert and governing architectures to ensure they remain out of scope from BACs and ATOs. Must hold a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a directly related field. Must know (through academic training or work experience) Linux/Unix, Single Page Applications (SPA), Web APIs (Rest and GraphQL), Cloud Native Computing (CNC) environments, including: IaC, Docker, Kubernetes (RKE2), Ansible, and Helm, and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
