UPMC Associate Operational Correspondence Strategist - Hybrid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Operational Correspondence Strategist position in the Print and Fulfillment department. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday daylight hours and will be a hybrid position consisting of working from home and in office.

The Associate Operational Correspondence Strategist is involved in the planning and execution of operational member correspondence initiatives and the stakeholders they serve. The Associate Operational Correspondence Strategist will collaborate with colleagues within UPMC Insurance Services Division to help create strategies that meet goals and objectives of the department and business unit. The Associate Operational Member Correspondence Strategist will assist with the development of initiative strategies and execution plans that operational member and/or provider communications. The primary responsibilities of the Associate Operational Member Correspondence Strategist will be coordinating, executing, and monitoring operational member correspondence utilizing the most optimal channel(s) for the specific communication. The Associate Operational Correspondence Strategist should be able to work with the clients to assist with business unit needs and innovate processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Operational Member Correspondence Strategist to develop and execute strategies and tactical marketing plans that engage, education and retain members, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals.

  • Drafting operational member correspondence initiatives and implementation plans into a cohesive plan that business stakeholders can execute against.

  • Collaborate across various departments to assess member and provider engagement opportunities that coincide with health plan products programs and services.

  • Assist with the identification and details for appropriate operational member correspondence initiatives and/or tactics that achieve desired results.

  • Ensure coordination and clear communication among stakeholders on all activities.

  • Build and manage initiative calendars and deliverables along the operational member correspondence communication process. Maintain relationships and ensure strategic success with clients.

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience with health care / health insurance products (inclusive of health insurance operations, member communication and/or marketing materials development); OR Master's degree and 1 year experience.

  • Experience in managing and building business and client relationships.

  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Will need to manage multiple tasks and projects and forge key relationships with internal departments and external vendors.

  • Results oriented with the ability to review processes, identify opportunities, and work independently.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
