Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh, KS. The role involves working closely with one pharmacist to ensure the efficient fulfillment of prescriptions and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and inventory.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Essential Skills
Pharmacy Technician License in Kansas.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations.
Experience in healthcare settings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PharmD degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Work Environment
The work environment includes collaboration with one pharmacist and one to two other pharmacy technicians. The team focuses on providing exceptional care in a supportive and efficient setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
