GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, assists with researching, analyzing, and making recommendations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as CMS, FTCA, HRSA, etc. Assists with compliance/legal related tasks related to CHC/SEKs compliance departments (e.g., Health Information Management, Risk Management, Legal, Pharmacy).

::: {bind="html: Job.Requirements"} ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform research, analysis, and assessment of compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, FTCA, and other government programs.
- Perform tasks associated with patient-driven legal issues; such tasks would be primarily focused on the areas of real estate law, landlord-tenant law, municipality law, and family law.
- Provide general clerical support to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, including writing correspondence, maintaining schedule/calendar, screening phone calls, filing, etc.
- Organize and maintain documents using an electronic and/or paper filing system, in collaboration with Compliance staff.
- Compile documents necessary for surveys, audits, or legal claims.
- Perform all duties, services, and documentation in full compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.
