Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the Doors department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist
Location: Pittsburg, KS
Pay Range: $17 Days
Shift: Monday to Thursday
What's the Job?
Assemble all types of steel door units according to customer specifications.
Read and interpret production tickets accurately to ensure correct assembly.
Verify material quality, accuracy, and count with minimal supervision to maintain high standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Support safety initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and understand English.
Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; capable of frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and pushing.
Excellent manual dexterity; able to work at a fast pace with multiple components.
