CTG SAP HANA Basis Lead – S/4HANA & Cloud Migration in Piscataway, New Jersey
CTG is seeking to fill a SAP HANA Basis Lead – S/4HANA & Cloud Migration position for our client.
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Serve as a client-facing SAP Basis Lead for S/4HANA and cloud transformation initiatives
Design, implement, and maintain SAP HANA systems and landscapes
Architect scalable, high-availability SAP environments across on-premise and cloud platforms
Lead S/4HANA migrations from legacy systems (ECC) using industry-standard tools and methodologies
Configure and optimize SAP HANA systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Oversee data migration activities using tools such as SAP SLT and SAP Data Services
Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide best practice recommendations
Manage integration points across SAP modules including BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM
Support SAP cloud initiatives leveraging SAP BTP and related services
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge repositories
Stay current with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and cloud migration trends and innovations
Skills:
Strong expertise in SAP HANA and S/4HANA architecture and administration
Experience with SAP Basis implementation and leadership
Proficiency in cloud migration strategies (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and integration with SAP modules (BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, HCM)
Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP SLT, and SAP ASE
Strong SQL and database management skills
Expertise in system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery strategies
Excellent stakeholder communication and client engagement skills
Experience:
10+ years of SAP Basis experience, with a focus on SAP HANA environments
Proven experience leading S/4HANA implementations and migrations
Demonstrated experience with large-scale SAP landscape transformations
Experience working in client-facing leadership roles
Prior experience with cloud-based SAP deployments preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
SAP certifications in HANA, S/4HANA, or Basis administration preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $190,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
