Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable consumer products company known for high-quality manufacturing and innovation in personal care and beauty products.

Title: Quality Control Technician I

Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extension and more)

Pay: up to 26.5/hr based on experience level

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician with hands-on experience in functional testing and measurement tools (e.g., calipers). This role will support routine inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Testing

  • Perform routine inspections and testing on finished goods and/or components in accordance with established procedures and specifications

  • Conduct physical inspections, physicochemical analyses, and functional testing using specialized equipment

Documentation & Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections, test results, and observations

  • Enter data into systems and ensure documentation aligns with laboratory and quality plans

Equipment Maintenance & Calibration

  • Assist with routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment

  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets required standards

Sample Management

  • Collect, label, and store samples in accordance with established protocols

  • Maintain sample inventory and ensure proper handling and disposal

Compliance & SOP Adherence

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines

Communication & Collaboration

  • Partner with QC, production, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards

  • Report deviations and non-conformances in a timely manner

Continuous Improvement

  • Support initiatives aimed at improving quality processes, efficiency, and compliance

Additional Support

  • Assist with general QC activities including lifting/sorting materials, cleaning equipment, and supporting investigations as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience with functional testing and measurement tools (e.g., calipers)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Familiarity with GMP and quality systems preferred

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.50 per hour
