Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled communicator and technologist to be the “Technical Bridge” between our business team leaders and our AI builders as an AI Project Associate Manager. In this role, you are the technical pulse of the transformation team, advancing Colgate-Palmolive’s purpose to Make More Smiles and our commitment to a healthier future for our people, pets, and planet through responsible AI innovation.
You work with priority business teams to understand their value streams and architect AI solutions that accelerate innovation, enhance consumer insight, and unlock measurable business value. As Colgate-Palmolive expands its use of generative AI to move beyond productivity gains toward enterprise-wide innovation, you will help translate business ambition into scalable technical solutions. You serve as the expert advisor to functional and divisional AI Leads on what is possible and as a technical reviewer for AI suppliers and solutions across the enterprise, ensuring strong alignment with governance, ethics, and long-term value creation.
Core Responsibilities
AI Functional/Divisional Leads Support: Support AI Leads in translating technical proposals of AI Ambassadors into clear "Strategic Value" stories.
AI Ambassador Mentorship: Act as the primary technical Point of Contact for our growing global network of AI Ambassadors, guiding them through technical questions and tool selection by interfacing with our IT organization.
AI Ambassador Partner: Works hand in hand with AI Ambassadors to brainstorm ideas and Lead "To-Be" process design sessions to identify where AI Agents/Tools can replace manual bottlenecks. Also supports AI LT at a broader level.
Tool Consultation: Act as an internal consultant for global teams, advising on the optimal use of Gemini, ReTool, and other enterprise AI tools for specific business problems.
Technical SME for Learning: Provide the technical support for the global upskilling curriculum, ensuring our training materials reflect our evolving tech stack.
AI Solution Feasibility: Serve as the technical consultant for Registry applicants, helping teams refine their technical approach and tool selection to ensure proposals are technically sound before they enter the formal Governance approval workflow.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Business, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Economics, Information Technology, or related field;
Experience: 4+ years in Technical Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, AI/ML Project Coordination, or similar experiences involving the hands-on deployment of emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python, SQL, or data analysis methodologies is a strong plus.
Relevant certifications are an advantage: Project Management Professional (PMP)
Tech Savvy: Very strong hands-on skills with the latest AI technologies including all major Frontier models and coding agents / CLIs.
Foundational Technical Expertise: Demonstrated familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools.
Communication: Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and proposals into clear, strategic narratives for business teams.
Business Value Alignment: Deep empathy for end-users and a capacity to connect technical capabilities with tangible business outcomes.
Process Analysis: Experience as a process analyst within a global CPG or similar large, international environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
