Robert Half Junior Estimator in Pinellas Park, Florida
Description
We’re partnering with a growing organization in Pinellas Park to add a Junior Estimator to support its Estimating team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working behind the scenes, supporting multiple stakeholders, and learning how projects and service estimates come together. Training is provided, including a structured onboarding that walks through the process from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Provide administrative and analytical support to the Estimating team
Assist with gathering cost information and preparing service and project estimates
Assign and manage jobs for estimators using NetSuite, based on location and workload
Work from a shared queue system with a collaborative estimating team
Enter orders and update data in the system as needed
Communicate with vendors, field technicians, regional managers, and internal sales teams to support service requests
Research manufacturer pricing, confirm margins, and coordinate follow-up as needed
Maintain organized and accurate documentation throughout the estimating process
Requirements
Prior experience using NetSuite or another ERP system HIGHLY preferred
Administrative, estimating, operations, or accounting-related background
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Willingness to ask questions and learn
Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starting mindset
