Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Plant Maintenance, Safety, & Transportation Coordinator. This vital role ensures operational efficiency and safety by managing machinery maintenance, enforcing safety protocols (OSHA/local), and overseeing logistics. Key duties include managing facility and equipment upkeep, maintenance and repair, scheduling repairs, conducting safety audits, training staff, and coordinating incoming/outgoing logistics to ensure compliance and productivity. You will play a key role in fostering a safe work environment while optimizing maintenance and transportation processes to support our company's growth and sustainability goals. Duties/Responsibilities: *Maintenance Coordination: Actively monitor facilities and equipment to ensure that both remain in a high state of readiness and care. Schedule preventative and unscheduled maintenance on plant buildings, equipment and machinery. Manage replacement parts inventory and coordinate external contractors. *Safety Compliance & Training: Conduct regular safety inspections, develop protocols, lead safety drills, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with federal and local health and safety regulations. *Transportation & Logistics: Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure the safe and timely handling of goods and raw materials. Manage driver scheduling and logistics operations. *Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records for AS9100 compliance standards and OSHA compliance. Prepare safety documentation and reports. *Training & Certification: Coordinate staff training, including driver certifications and warehouse equipment operations in coordination with the Training Manager. *Leadership & Teamwork: This is a leadership position where ownership and responsibility of your area of responsibility are critical to success for the organization. The expectation is to work closely and collaboratively with others to address any issues, delays, or changes. **Relationship Management: Manage relationships with applicable vendors or carriers and negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements to ensure the best possible service and cost efficiency.
