Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team and provide exceptional service in commercial environments. This role involves installing, inspecting, and repairing HVAC systems, as well as performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks. Vehicle and gas card included.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems in commercial environments.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend solutions.
Replace defective components such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
Monitor and adjust Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Ensure systems meet energy efficiency and safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and system operations.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Proven experience in commercial HVAC service.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
EPA certification; NATE certification is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Work Environment
The role involves working in diverse commercial settings, utilizing hand tools and technical equipment. The position requires field service work, which may involve preventive maintenance and installation tasks. Dress code is professional attire suitable for fieldwork.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pikeville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
