Immediate start! We are looking for an industrious production associate who will be responsible for completing the daily tasks associated with pressing oil from seeds. This position will involve operating, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance on food manufacturing and agricultural equipment. Because the associate will work in a food manufacturing facility, the associate will be required to follow good manufacturing practices and maintain accurate records for product quality, safety, and sanitation purposes. Responsibilities Production Duties * Monitor equipment to minimize downtime and maximize product output. * Maintain records to ensure safety and traceability of all products produced in the facility. * Package products into finished packaging, which may include lifting and/or operating a forklift or other equipment. * Receive product into inventory and help prepare orders for shipping, which includes maintaining proper product rotation. * Perform all other duties as assigned. Sanitation Duties * Clean equipment as needed to ensure a safe and efficient process, which may involve some assembly and disassembly of equipment. * Clean the facility as needed to maintain a safe and sanitary food processing area. * Wash and sanitize tools and packaging between uses, following written sanitation procedures. * Maintain proper documentation of all completed sanitation tasks. * Perform all other duties as assigned. Schedule & Location * Full-time position at our oil pressing facility located in Pierz, MN. * Schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, but some weekends will be required. * Overtime may be required to meet customer demand.
