JOB SUMMARY

This job will lead and inspire a team to cultivate strong provider relationships, driving network growth and retention. You'll develop and execute comprehensive communication and education strategies across traditional and digital channels, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. This leadership role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Senior Leadership. You will own the provider engagement roadmap and be a key contributor to overall business strategy.

This role can be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of an office you are required to be onsite 3 days a week. T, W, Th. Outside of 50 miles will be remote.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Leadership & Operations: Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

  • Provider Engagement & Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the provider communication roadmap, encompassing traditional and digital strategies to increase engagement, adoption, and support of organizational initiatives.

  • Lead provider education initiatives, including outreach to key partners and providers.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication and education strategies and adapt as needed.

  • Strategic Planning & Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Regulatory, Senior Leadership) to ensure alignment of strategies and tactics.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and develop mitigation strategies to protect network viability and revenue.

  • Design, develop, and implement value-added service programs to support network growth and retention.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 5 years of experience in business analysis and provider/marketing communications

  • 3 years with Management or leadership role

Preferred

  • 5 years of experience in the dental or health insurance industry or regulatory compliance, as applicable

  • 5 years of experience in project management/process design

  • Leadership & Management: Leading and developing teams, managing performance.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Developing and implementing communication strategies with measurable results.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication (written & verbal) and cross-functional collaboration skills.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, communications, marketing, or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in business administration/management, communications, marketing, or related field.

Pay Range Minimum:

$94,200.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$151,000.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
