Description We are looking for an entry-level Accounting Clerk in Pico Rivera, California, to join our team on a contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices accurately to ensure timely payments.
• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable operations.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Conduct check runs and prepare payment batches.
• Assist in invoice processing and verification.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle for financial tasks.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting operations.
• Generate reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Knowledge of invoice processing and coding.
