Job Description
We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, where you will be responsible for utilizing airless paint sprayers, mixing paint, and understanding ratios. You will prime and paint surfaces, prepare materials, and comprehend dew point and humidity factors when painting. Your work will take place both in a paint booth and outdoors, with the operation of forklifts and overhead cranes required. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and tools, using spray guns, rollers, and brushes, and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities
Utilize airless paint sprayers efficiently.
Mix paint and understand ratios for accurate application.
Prime and paint various surfaces.
Prepare materials for surface painting.
Understand dew point and humidity factors while painting.
Work both in a paint booth and outdoors.
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.
Use spray guns, rollers, and brushes for painting tasks.
Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in industrial painting techniques.
Experience with airless sprayers.
Skill in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
Ability to perform surface preparation.
Capability in equipment setup and paint preparation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with spray guns, sanding, and blasting.
Knowledge of paint booths and powder coating.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment
You will work both indoors and outdoors from Monday to Saturday, with a 60-hour work week. The role requires adaptability to various conditions and commitment to maintaining high standards in all tasks.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pickens, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
