Clean Harbors Traveling Project Manager - HAZMAT Emergency Response in Phoenix, Arizona
Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Field Service Project Manager to join our team. The Field Service Project Manager is responsible for estimating and running projects throughout the district. This position will travel as needed to run field-based projects or support the branch locations throughout the Southwest (Southern CA, Southern NV, AZ, NM, El Paso, TX). This position requires someone that is a highly organized self-starter, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to communicate.
This is not a remote role. While not travelling this role will be based out of the Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ office. Travel can range from 50%-90% depending on project awards and support needs throughout the district.

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Manages and oversees small to large, technically complex projects involving waste site clean-up and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.
Prepare proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules.
Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues.
Ability to provide timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates.
Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.
Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the districts health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
5 + years’ demonstrated Project Management experience in environmental, remediation, or construction.
Experience with high pressure and hydrovac operations preferred.
Previous leadership experience in foreman or supervisory capacity;
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Cost estimating experience and ability to develop and present Project Change Orders.
Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation.
Computer literate and fully proficient in Windows-based business software including Word and Excel.
Ability to stay organized on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong customer management skills.
