Honeywell Technical Accountant in Phoenix, Arizona
As a Technical Accountant here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting. Your expertise in accounting standards and regulations will help shape our financial practices and ensure compliance across the organization.
You will report directly to our Finance Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Please note all new hires to Honeywell must report onsite fully for teh first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the financial health of our company by providing critical insights and guidance on complex accounting issues, ensuring that our financial practices align with industry standards and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the transformation team accountable for improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with accounting US GAAP standards and regulations, providing guidance on technical accounting matters.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and implement best practices.
Partner with the business on new initiatives and process opportunities
Lead internal accounting projects
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Business degree with a concentration in Financial Technology/Data Analytics
3 or more years of experience in technical accounting roles.
Experience in Alteryx
Ability to write macros and/or RPA BOT knowledge
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools, with the ability to prepare accurate financial statements.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
