The Customer Engagement Team Lead plays an important role in coaching representatives, driving sales performance, and helping deliver the outstanding customer experience that keeps customers choosing Consumer Cellular.
As a Customer Engagement Team Lead, you will coach and support a team of Customer Engagement Representatives to help them uncover customer needs, build value, overcome objections, and confidently close sales. You’ll provide real-time coaching, monitor team performance, and step in to support complex customer situations when needed. This role is a great first step on the leadership path at Consumer Cellular.
What You'll Do
Coach Sales Performance -Guide representatives on discovery, objection handling, and closing techniques that help drive results.
Provide Real-Time Support - Monitor calls and chats to provide coaching, answer questions, and support representatives during customer interactions.
Drive Team Results -Track performance metrics, identify coaching opportunities, and help your team consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
Support Customer Experience -Assist with escalations and complex situations to ensure customers receive thoughtful solutions and a great experience.
Build a Strong Team Culture -Motivate, recognize, and support your team while reinforcing Consumer Cellular’s commitment to teamwork and integrity.
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
1 year sales experience (call center preferred)
Previous peer coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience needed
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret performance metrics and provide coaching
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Ability to work within contact center hours that best align with business needs.

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
Minimum Salary: $42,000
Maximum Salary: $52,500
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
