Honeywell Sr IT Program Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
As a Sr. IT Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the successful execution of IT university relations programs. You will be responsible for managing and delivering complex IT initiatives that align with strategic objectives, particularly in fostering partnerships with educational institutions to enhance our talent pipeline. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results will be essential in contributing to the success of Honeywell's IT programs.
In this role, your impact will be comprehensive, encompassing program execution, team leadership, quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data analysis, reporting, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of IT programs that contribute to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.
You'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the execution of global IT university programs focused on university relations.
Manage and deliver IT initiatives within scope, schedule, and budget.
Ensure alignment of IT programs with strategic objectives and educational partnerships.
Identify and mitigate program risks and issues related to university collaborations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educational institutions to ensure program success.
Provide leadership and guidance to program teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
YOU MUST HAVE
6 years of experience in IT program management, including experience managing university relations programs
Proven track record of managing UR programs and teams effectively.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading technology programs to completion.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in relevant industries.
WE VALUE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience leading global programs
Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.
Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives.
Strong project portfolio management skills.
A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices.
