Honeywell Sr Advanced Systems Engr in Phoenix, Arizona

This position is within the Flight Systems/Flight Controls team. We make state-of-the-art flight controls for air transport, regional/business and the Urban Air-Mobility markets.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems engineering processes, driving innovation and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives.

· Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems.

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

· Participate in the development of system level requirements, as well as SW based implementation and verification activities.

· Performing system engineering activities demonstrating compliance, including planning documents, work instructions, verification and analysis activities

· Functional integration and troubleshooting on system bench

· Participating in customer interactions are expected and occasional travel to support requirements development and on-site testing may be needed.

YOU MUST HAVE

· 6 plus years of experience in systems engineering.

· Mastery of knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting with a thorough understanding of multiple workstreams.

· Ability to work under minimal supervision.

· Proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies, including model-based development and requirements management tools.

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering

· Minimum of two year of experience directly related to flight control system development and/or related avionics functionality

· Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements
