Honeywell Sr Advanced Quality Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will drive process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality. Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at Honeywell Aerospace, Phoenix Engines location that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements.

You will report directly to our Sr Quality Engineering Manager and work 100% onsite at our Phoenix, AZ location (111 South 34th Street).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Idea generation

  • Brainstorm solutions

  • Continuous improvement

  • Risk analysis

  • Coordinate resolution

  • Process definition

  • Auditor of process

  • Regulatory reviews

  • Cost improvement analysis

  • Drive technical solutions

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of aerospace engineering quality or manufacturing experience

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Understanding of quality processes

  • SAP knowledge/skills

  • Understanding of Purchase Order Conditions

  • Greenbelt Certified

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools

  • Blueprint reading
