The successful candidate will join our Solid Waste team to support projects in Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, California, and Nebraska assisting clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. This full-time office-based position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of field work, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage civil and environmental engineering projects related to solid waste facilities, landfills and transfer stations, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance.
{=html} <!-- --> - Lead planning and design efforts for solid waste infrastructure, containment systems, and leachate and landfill gas management.
{=html} <!-- --> - Oversee contaminated site remediation projects including nature and extent studies, evaluation of corrective measures, implementation of remediation strategies, environmental due diligence assessments, and analysis and remediation of emerging contaminants.
{=html} <!-- --> - Manage and evaluate data, perform analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal standards for regulatory compliance.
{=html} <!-- --> - Manage scope, schedule, budget, and reporting for assigned projects.
{=html} <!-- --> - Manage project staff and subcontractors, assigning resources as necessary to complete project tasks on schedule and within budget.
{=html} <!-- --> - Develop work plans and health & safety plans, ensuring field staff have been appropriately briefed on relevant plan details.
{=html} <!-- --> - Coordinate with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients to execute environmental investigation and remediation projects.
{=html} <!-- --> - Prepare investigation summary, remedy implementation, performance monitoring, and site closure reports for submittal to clients and agencies. - Develop new business throughout the United States
