Sheet Metal Mechanic
(Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)
Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Compensation: Depends on Experience
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Overtime as needed
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status is required

Responsibilities & Expectations
Set up and operate Sheet Metal Equipment
Perform forming operations such as hydroforming, forming, punching, coining, sizing, drawing, and related support operations.
Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection devices.
Follow written instructions and drawings.
Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
Must be able to proficiently read and interpret Aerospace blueprints
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Self-motivated, self-starter
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing
Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion
The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
