Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing complex to high risk cross-functional and/or inter-departmental programs or projects for Line of Business products, processes, functions, and employee readiness. Key responsibilities include partnering with the business to develop a plan to sustain change, evaluate current methods, and drive strategies to implement changes/improvements. Job expectations include serving as the primary point of contact to department managers for critical change initiatives, using tools to document program performance, and influencing stakeholders to make strategic changes.
Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, monitors, and controls project using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure project completion and benefits are achieved.
Ensures that all applicable Global Change Standards, Enterprise Procedures and any FLU/CF Procedures are followed for the project and that documentation meets Enterprise and LOB requirements.
Central point of contact with responsibility for end-to-end project status, tracking against critical path deadlines and overall business measures of success, ensures appropriate checkpoints and engagement with cross functional stakeholders, support for escalations, etc.
Responsible for development of key project deliverables, in coordination with Process Owner/Business Owners, SMEs, Product Managers, Technology Leads, project team and business partners (Kickoff, Materiality Assessment, System of Record setup, Charter, Stakeholder List, Project Plan, Risk Assessment (UCRA), Control plan, Project Tollgates, etc.
Facilitate and contribute with LOB/SMEs/Technology/Process Design/Reporting to identify primary and secondary metrics; define approach to validate success with data/reporting.
Ensure all necessary partners and work streams are established during the beginning of the project (e.g., process design, readiness, reporting, QA, testing, etc.).
Coordinate with partners to track resolution of post install defects identified within project warranty period; ensure stability of process and transition to BAU.
Support Program Manager and Portfolio Manager in documenting Program/Project health every month, using the Strategic and Execution and Financial Health conditions, and present to senior leaders when status necessitates.
Work closely with less experienced project managers and analysts to train, direct, influence outcomes on projects supporting same Programs or Line of Business.
Defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key project roles and oversees the execution of defined programs and/or project tasks through tracking of deliverables and their statuses, developing project plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
Leads the adoption and sustainment of change initiatives and assesses adoption risks
Leads remediation requirements documentation efforts based on identified gaps and controls needed for sustained performance
Leads and plans programs and projects using appropriate tools and techniques, including Technology platforms used by client facing employees, change management tools, and risk and issue management tools to ensure efficient and effective project completion
Develops, maintains, and reports on an overall integrated delivery plan, raising any risks, developing a mitigation plan, and escalating issues appropriately to respective stakeholders Required Skills: (Must have these skills to be minimally qualified)
5+ years of all aspects of end-to-end project management experience including process improvement/re-engineering, employee readiness efforts and technology change efforts
Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile)
Proven experience with managing a medium/large project, varying levels of stakeholders and ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions to achieve desired results
Effective simultaneous oversight and management of multiple large scale, technology dependent initiatives and projects/tasks
Proven problem-solving skills and strong decision-making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style
Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks
