Honeywell Senior Director, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Tempe) in Phoenix, Arizona

Be part of the global Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Engineering leadership team driving advancement in the factory, product improvements for producibility and cost savings, manufacturing technology implementation, and new product development for Honeywell Aerospace.

You will lead the Control Systems (CS) ISC Engineering team and leverage your influence and leadership to develop and implement solutions that will deliver improved productivity, high-quality products, and cycle time reduction. You will create the vision, develop the strategy, and hold teams accountable to deliver high impact business results. Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a team of 150 engineers with direct reporting Directors and Senior Managers enabling delivery of products at manufacturing sites including Tempe, Torrance, Mexicali, South Bend, Tucson, Urbana and Mississauga.

  • Leverage multiyear site based strategic roadmaps to build world-class capabilities within our factories that maximize the return on investment of your team with $25M annual budget responsibility (CapEx/Momentum).

  • Develop a high performing team and drive employee engagement across the network.

  • Drive positive changes to realize our vision to be the go-to team for automation, digitization, technology, product, and process innovation.

  • Enable safe delivery of quality products on time to our customers, working at high velocity across the entire value stream.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or a related field

  • 8 or more years of experience in either manufacturing engineering, advanced technologies or product development

  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
