TAD PGS, Inc. Senior Data Center Network Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
We have an outstanding Contract position for aSenior Data Center Network Engineerto join a leading Company located in thePhoenix, AZsurrounding area.
Seeking a Sr. Data Center Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco Nexus data center technologies, responsible for designing, deploying, and validating scalable network fabrics using NDFC and VXLAN.
Responsibilities :
Configure and deploy Cisco Nexus (N9K) switches for data center environments
Build and manage VXLAN/EVPN fabrics using Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
Perform base network configuration, including:
VLANs, trunking, VPC, LACP
Layer 2/Layer 3 services (SVIs, routing, OSPF)
Configure and validate:
VRFs, tenant policies, and overlay networking
Spine-leaf architectures and fabric connectivity
Ensure proper integration with upstream/downstream networks
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and connectivity
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 (N9K) platforms
Strong knowledge of VXLAN/EVPN architectures
Experience with Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
Solid understanding of data center networking fundamentals
Ability to configure and validate end-to-end network fabrics
Desired Qualifications :
Experience with multi-site VXLAN or data center interconnect
Familiarity with automation or templating within NDFC
Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE Data Center preferred)
