What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, tenants, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a technology-focused location.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Control access by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing keys and/or access cards as assigned, and verifying contractor work authorizations.
Complete detailed reports and log entries for patrols, access activity, and unusual events, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or the monitoring center.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
